|  | On behalf of region 1 we would like to thank all students who attended the regional umpires course. We hope the day provided an opportunity to further your competition knowledge and offered a new and exciting avenue to compliment your Taekwon-Do training. The course covered the roles and responsibilities of the judges, official terms and commands as well as a detailed breakdown of how and what to score during sparring and pattern bouts.
As a newly accredited regional umpire, we encourage you to attend and officiate at the upcoming SE Regional Championships under the guidance of our UK ITF/ITF umpires. It is our want within the region to build a strong team of umpires who can help to run professional, fair and enjoyable competitions for all. As with all events, the success of our championships rely heavily on the involvement and drive of an enthusiastic workforce. With this in mind, we probably welcome you to our team and hope you take this opportunity to put into practice your new skills you have learnt whilst giving support back to the region.
