Region 2 Technical Training
View all articles

Since September region 2 have continued running Black Belt technical training sessions for the local clubs.  Sunday the 11th of October was the second in this season with new attendees including Nick Sheehan who is currently ruuning the sessions. With the tournaments looming these were a vital chance for a last minute refresher for those competing.  Each session lasts 2 hours with a chance for us to focus on specific patterns at each session.  This means that we can really drill-down into each movement and combination in order to perfect each focus pattern.  Every grade present has the chance to work not just on their grade but also to work on the lower graded patterns as time permits.

The sessions are targeted at being strict on quality of movement but friendly in delivery to ensure that each participant maximises the training opportunity.  There are 2 more sessions in 2015 being held on the 8th of November and the 6th of December starting at 4pm.  2016 Dates will be available in December.  The photo is our own little Region 2 training ‘selfie’ taken at the end of the last session.  We hope to have more faces in our next one.  Please feel free to come along if you want some extra training on the Black Belt patterns.”
