Imperial Region 1 at the Imperial Scottish Championships

Comments: 1A party of 12 representatives from Hayes and Yiewsley TKD Clubs flew up to Edinburgh to attend the Imperial Scottish Championships on Sunday 28th March 2010.
The competition was well attended, drawing participants from every part of the country who enjoyed a well-organised event with a great atmosphere. The standard was very high across the board, with some particularly outstanding performances from students who have been selected to represent our Home Countries at the ITF World Championships in Korea in July 2010.
Well done to all of you who attended and made the day such a success. Thank you to Master Nicholls for leading the group and to Mark Skyrme and Ashley Nicholls for organising the trip and responding to events on the day. Thanks to Andrew Hetherington and Prinder Sidhu for making the journey to support the competitors.
Patterns medals: Gold - Gav Sidhu, Laurie Cornwell, Luke Dempsey; Silver - Reece Nicholls, Gurlaine Sidhu, Ryan Hamdy; Bronze - Matt Brunger, Prit Sidhu, Jay Gilbert.
Sparring medals: Gold - Laurie Cornwell, Reece Nicholls, Gav Sidhu, Jamie McAvoy, Gurlaine Sidhu, Ryan Hamdy, Harry Hetherington; Silver - Prit Sidhu, Luke Dempsey ; Bronze - Jay Gilbert.
