UTF SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIPS – Saturday 27th February 2010-03-13

Master Brown kindly invited our Imperial students to attend his Scottish Championships which were held in Grangemouth on Saturday the 27th February.

Some of our students went along to compete they were:

  • Connor McLay – Silver-patterns,  Silver Sparring & Gold-special
  • Brad Robertson – Gold Patterns,  Gold-sparring.
  • Christopher McAlaney – Bronze-patterns, Silver -sparring
  • Karla McLay – Bonze-patterns
  • Siobhan Crawford – Silver-destruction
  • Peter Scott – Bronze-patterns, silver-sparring, bronze-special
  • Desmond Harkin – Bronze-sparring
  • Gavin Robertson – Gold-sparring, Silver-special

The Competition was very well run, and the Imperial students very much enjoyed the day, and we were all made very welcome from the UTF members.

It was a very successful day for the Imperial students and very much enjoyed meeting new students. All the colour belts done there patterns first and then sparring, and then the black belts were on, in which they all took part in the 4 disciplines, patterns, sparring, special and power.

I would also like to thank Master Brown and his students for the invite and for making us all welcome.
