Congratulations Stoke Gifford students Kieran McDermott & Phoebe Grandfield who have been selected as finalists for the Bristol Post Sports Awards.

This is the first year that the Bristol Post has held this event & they are looking to honour the stars, the stalwarts and the unsung heroes of sport in Bristol.

Kieran & Phoebe were nominated by their Instructor Miss Burridge for their consistent hard work, which resulted in great results at the World Championships this year.

There are 14 awards up for grabs – catering for every sport you can think of – and they will be handed out at a glittering ceremony at The Bristol Marriott Hotel on the evening of Thursday, October 30 2014.

We would like to wish both students the very best of luck & will keep everything crossed that they are recognised at the ceremony.
