Feedback rating: 9/10On Friday 28th May 2010 Imperial students from Cornwall had organised a run from St Austell Club to Truro Club some 16 miles !!!
It was agreed that it would be done relay style and they all had their hand over points organised . Mr and Mrs Martin and I were in the support vehicles (no surprises there !!!) and all 10 students did the first mile together.
Then at each mile point they were to swap to the next pair , however showing the true spirit of the occasion , they all did many extras and at each stage there were a lot more than the two actually running.
Even on the hills, some of which are horrendous, they never waivered and completed the run in an hour less than was expected . Which was a real achievement as the ages ranged from 11 to 50 something !!
When they reached Truro they all regrouped and ran together to Truro Club where the Truro students applauded their achievements.
All the proceeds will go towards the competitors who have qualified for the World Championships in Korea .

They all did a brilliant job and what is more important they really enjoyed themselves , they''re even talking about a bike ride to Exeter next !!
