UK ITF funding for the European Championships
Please find information below about the UK ITF funding for the European
Championships this year;
- The UK ITF Coaching committee will be announcing the selection for the Elite
GB squad week commencing 25th March 2013
- If a student is selected as part of the Elite GB squad then the UK ITF will
fund the competitor to attend the European Championships so long as they fulfil
the criteria described in the attached funding tree.
- If flying from London Heathrow deposits for flights need to be paid by this
Thursday 21st March. (This will be refunded by UK ITF if the competitor is
selected for the Elite GB Squad)
- Any student that is not selected for the Elite GB squad will still be able
to enter the European Championships at their own cost. However their region or
club may want to contribute towards their funding if they feel they are of the
required standard. This will be at the discretion of each individual region.
- ALL competitors must enter through the UK ITF.
