The venue was staged at Eastwood Taekwondo Academy and hosted by Master Michael Wood VIII Degree.

In attendance there were 64 Competitors, 20/30 Officials and seating for 200 spectators.

At 9.30 formal briefing with Officials on UKITF format, Health & Safety being paramount, First-Aid and Exit doors made aware to all. Welcoming all, Families, Spectators and Competitors.

Clubs attending were from Master Wood- Eastwood TKD Academy,  Mr N Overton- Leicester TKD,  Mr J Short-SSTKD, and Mr S Hallam- Ilkeston TKD

GX 4/5,6/7 years kicked the day off with 30 sec Bash, Speed Test, Kicking Techniques and sparring. Anyone not having Kick gear did an Assault Course Time trial. This group are tomorrows Taekwondo and showed loads of enthusiasm and energy.

8/11 yrs Kids Kickers-Boys/Girls -  separate divisions in Patterns, Sparring & Flying Technique all showing good TKD Spirit.

12/14 yrs Cadets-Most of these students originally were GX Students and it was humbling for me to see how they have matured, not only in the Art of Taekwondo regarding their skills, but in their attitude and confidence mentally. Competing in Patterns, Sparring and High Kick.

15/17 yrs - we only had Leicester TKD in this division.  So I would like to thank Mr Overton V Degree for making this possible and their input on the day was well rewarded.  They competed in Patterns, Sparring and Destruction.

All medals were presented after each event - 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze awarded to all divisions.

On the day we had four parents working extremely hard in the Kitchen keeping everyone fed and watered.

We had two parents taking spectator monies on the door.

Also various Raffle prizes, Lucky Dip for the children.

The days event was well executed in every way possible and I as a Master of the Region was very proud and grateful of every ones input and showing our commitment as a Region to the UKITF.
