4-th. Master Class Taekwon-Do I.T.F. in Czech Republic 2012

About 54 instructors, presidents and students from England, Czech Republic, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Slovakia and Austria took part in this Master Class.

 

This seminar of highest importance was organized by Czech Taekwon-Do I.T.F. Association regarding celebrating the 20-th anniversary of Znojmo school of Taekwon-Do ITF in the year 2012. Recently, Master Nicholls was leading seminars in South Africa, South America, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia, and therefore Czech school is honored by his support and really appreciate that regular January seminars in Znojmo became part of Master Nicholls schedule. 

 

First participants arrived in Znojmo already on Thursday the 12-th of January and could not wait for upcoming weekend to meet again on collective training of both modern and traditional Korean martial art, sharing opinion and strengthen friendship. 

 

On Saturday morning, at 10:00 on time, Master Trevor Nicholls VIII. Dan, entered the dojang and was greeted by lined up Taekwondists. And so two day marathon started.

Warm up was supervised by Mr. Maurizio Troiano VI. Dan from Italy. Master Nicholls VIII. Dan explained specifics of attacking and blocking kicks, sets of Sewo Chagi and Golcho Chagi kicking techniques were exercised. During practicing, different steps from patterns and modification for real using were implemented. First block of seminar was concluded by demonstration of Italian practicing presented by Master Antonio Troiano VIII. Dan.   

After lunch time, Master Nicholls opened discussion and asked all participants for questions. After clearing all doubts, different techniques were exercised through all the gym along.    
Another dynamic and proper execution of flying kicks and whole body exercising was delivered by Master Matiullah Karwandgar VII. Dan from Slovakia.

Final part of the first day seminar program was determined to cup patterns exercise and finished by Choong-Moo pattern.

Finally, collective picture of all participants was made.

After short break, black degree testing started. 7 students from Czech Republic, Croatia and Germany were honored to show their best in front of Master Trevor Nicholls. Testing was really demanding and took 3 hours.

 

The exacting day was ended up with unofficial dinner in Prestige hotel and short visit of local wine cellar. 

 

On Saturday the 15-th of January 2012, the dojang full of black belts greeted Master Nicholls at 10:00 exactly. Mr. Ralf Ufrecht VI.Dan from Germany arranged for necessary warm.  

Third block of the seminar was divided between the two Masters.  Master Nicholls conducted exercising of Sam-Il, Yoo-Sin, Choi-Yong, Yon-Gae, Ul-Ji, Moon-Moo, So-San, Se-Jong, Tong-Il patterns. All questions and doubts regarding patterns were discussed in detail and cleared by Master Nicholls. On the same time, Master Troiano conducted exercising of Kwang-Gae, Po-Eun, Ge-Baek, Eui-Am, Choong-Jang a Ko-Dang patterns and self defence basics.

 

In the final of the seminar, Master Nicholls announced to all, that those students who applied for testing have successfully passed. They have made good use of conscientious work and so Czech ITF has increased the number of black belts.

Once mal, we would like to express great thanks to Master Trevor Nicholls for leading the seminar. We really appreciate his efforts and support of our Association. Such opportunity like sharing Master Nicholls experience and knowledge is essential for development if both Taekwon-Do Schools and individuals. Instructors and students can only benefit from opinion and understanding of “DO” presented by Master Nicholls. For his next Seminar, Master Nicholls will travel to Canada, and we wish You the all best.   

 

Thanks belong also to all participants for the time we could spend together in friendly and nice atmosphere.

 

We hope the Seminar in Znojmo will become tradition and we all will meet in Czech Republic in 2013 again. 

 

Finally, taking this occasion, we proudly invite all instructors, presidents but Taekwon-Do students at all  for upcoming Seminar with our I.T.F. President Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa IX.Dan in Znojmo, Czech republic on September  2012. The seminar will be held due to the 20-th anniversary of Znojmo school of Taekwon-Do ITF in the year 2012.
