On Friday 12th November, members of Mr Churchward’s and Mr McCabe’s Taekwon-do schools travelled to Cork to represent England ITF and Wales ITF at the annual Irish Championships.

Master Dalton and the IUTF were superb hosts and ran a great competition over 2 days; black belts competed on Saturday and Colour belts on Sunday.

With around 500 competitors over the weekend, UKITF students did exceptionally well amongst students from Ireland, Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands.

The results were:

England

Carla Dunne - Gold (patterns) Bronze (sparring)
Lizzy Palfrey - Bronze (patterns)
Jack Creber - Bronze (patterns)
Chris Harper - Gold (patterns) gold (sparring)
Dominic Sherratt - Silver (patterns)

Wales

Alex Yearling - Bronze (sparring)
Kevin McCabe - Gold (patterns)

Nathan Moore (England) and Tim Banks (Wales) also represented.
